Alyssa Lobit is an American actress, film director, and producer.

Her father is of European descent. Her mother is Korean. Among her sisters is film producer Athena Lobit. Together they are informally known as the Lobit Sisters filmmaking team.

Alyssa’s paternal grandfather was Edgar Lobit (the son of Edgar Lobit and Kathleen Boyd Hogsett). Alyssa’s grandfather Edgar was born in Arizona. Alyssa’s great-grandfather Edgar was born in Texas, the son of Joseph Lobit, who was French, and of Bertha Ducourneau/Ducournau, whose parents were French. Kathleen was born in Indiana, the daughter of Arthur Floyd Hogsett and Jessie Berry Bramblette/Bramblet.

Alyssa’s paternal grandmother was Marjie McGinnis (the daughter of Roy James McGinnis and Fay/Faye M. Bright). Marjie as born in Oklahoma.
